My journey started when a friend told me over and over to stop saying things like – “I can’t” and “how will I cope”.
The next thing I know I was reading E-Squared by Pam Grout. Holly jingles did that change my life in every aspect I can imagine? Above and beyond tripple fold. “Yes”, “Amen to the universe” and “ Thank You”. I never understood the term – “let it go”.
If you don’t already know what it means, then let me tell, before it takes you half your life to really figure it out. I really want to share this with you!
Now you all have to listen, because it does not matter how many times I said “ it’s not that easy”. It was that easy. If it’s not easy, you are not doing it right. Believe me.
What do you want?
Make it specific and I mean as spesific as it can be. They don’t tell you that, but it’s very important. Be really careful what you ask for. If you do it right it’s going to happen. I did not think it was funny at the time but when you realise it can happen, O Boy, are you in for the best life ever.
Say “Thank you”
Always know that joy and gratitude is nicer than all the others. Anger will kill you. Nobody makes you angry; you decide to use anger as a response. Anger, or let’s call it a bad attitude, is like a flat tyre. You can’t go anywhere if you don’t change it.
Let it go
You asked for it. So now let it go. Walk away. Don’t worry about a thing. You can’t control what is going to happen and worrying will not change the outcome, so just let it go. And Wait! It will come. Not in your time, but when it is supposed to come. Miracles do happen and I still believe in fairies.
“Ignore people who threaten your joy. Literally ignore them. Say nothing. Don’t invite any part of them into your space.” – Alex Elle
Always remember a grateful heart is a magnet for miracles. In my mind anything is possible. Happiness of your life, depends on the quality of your thoughts. I started to hunt down my goals instead of chasing them from year to year. This is where my story began, back when I gave notice to leave my last job.
Welcome to a new journey full of spectacular surprises. Today I open up. Starting the story of behind the scenes of a Permanent Makeup Artist and Paramedical Practitioner. Nineteen years of beauty experience and a surgeon-wanna-be. Please let me inject botox and filler and much much more.
Also some tidbits of information your therapist should have told you… and of course things therapists did that people don’t even know about. It’s going to be fun and life changing!
I am an Artist –
“Driven by endless Passion and Energy.
Seized by Obsession.
Delighted by any Imaginable Creation.
Enthralled by Expression.
Entranced by Vision.
Diverted by Daydreams.
Filled with Grateful Emotions.
Consumed with Beauty and blindsided by Inspiration.”
Welcome to my wonderful world that I want to share with all of you. Let’s change some Lives!
Love and Blessings

Rewind to late 2014, sitting in what I once thought was my ideal career in the corporate world as a draughtsman at a civil engineering company, and let’s face it, it was for a couple years considering I completed a degree in interior design from Potchefstroom Academy in 2010, started working in a retail environment as a graphic designer and then the aforementioned draughtsman. I realised at the time that I was destined for a different path where I could express my passion for expression of beauty.
I initially started venturing into the beauty industry by completing various courses of nails beautification and maintenance and also eyelash extensions part time and later full-time. It wasn’t long before the world of Permanent Makeup caught my eye. I wanted in, and after extensive research and numerous consultations to find a capable, professional and passionate training institute, I discovered Sulé Loggenberg Academy & Clinic.
Fast forward to today, two years going on three, I have gone from strength to strength with my own salon and travelling extensively to clients in numerous towns in KwaZulu Natal and Mpumalanga to provide my Permanent Makeup services.
I have attended numerous PMU seminars and Master Classes over this period. I can proudly say that I have executed over 600 procedures and counting. I believe it’s not how long you have been in the industry, but how active and passionate you are whilst on the journey.
Looking back at all the research and experience gained I realised I would like to share my knowledge with others and teach them the correct way of doing PMU and give them the necessary attention that this industry needs. With this said I advanced to become a trainer in association with Sulé Loggenberg Academy & Clinic.
Completed courses to date:
I successfully completed the required comprehensive score and have exhibited the essential advanced level of excellence in both Manual and Machine method of Permanent Makeup Application as deemed necessary by the International Permanent Makeup Society and Permanent makeup Technology on 24 September 2014.
I qualified as an active member of the Permanent Makeup Society, on 24 September 2014, and I quote
“It is in good standings, and has demonstrated good work skills. Willingness to promote and share educational knowledge with the Permanent Makeup community makes a welcome member. This is an International networking Association.”
I have successfully completed Advanced Permanent Makeup on 25 January 2016 presented by Sulé Loggenberg Academy & Clinic.
Specialising in New Advanced Techniques for Eyeliners, CelebBrows (Microblading), Combination Eyebrows, Powdered Eyebrows and Ombre Lips.
I have successfully attended the NPM International 3 days Master classes Conference on 3 November 2016 featuring HFS treatments – Areola reconstruction and Shaded Eyeliner technique.
IndelIbeLiner, Knightsbridge, London. Certificate of attendance awarded in having successfully completed an INDELIBELiner workshop in Gloss & GO Lips, Ombre Brows, and 3D Hairstroke Brows. 3 November 2016.

I started out in the industry years ago when I first studied beauty therapy right after school and finished my studies in 2001.
While working in a few salons I gained enough work experience to eventually start my own salon, every beauty therapist’s dream, and so my new journey started in early 2009.
In 2011 I finally plugged up the courage to go and do the training in permanent makeup. I fell in love with it and it became my passion in life to just help improve people’s lives and make a difference.
“I constantly read up on all the latest techniques and products that improve this industry and basically just keep up with standards in order to give clients only the best they so rightly deserve.”
I have completed various of courses in permanent makeup from attending advance courses, masters classes, conference even did my trainer’s course.
I have covered from basic techniques to eyeshadow, ombre, areola, HFS, camouflage, removal/correction, microblading to name a few.
My goal is to become a top artist at international level and share that knowledge with other artists and maintain a high standard in this industry of ours and move from strength to strength so that we all reach top.
I eat, sleep and breath permanent makeup as this is my passion, I truly hope that this becomes your passion too. As they say: if you have a passion for what you do, you will never work a day in your life.

After completing my studies in Somatology in 2005 at Elizabeth Beauty School in Port Elizabeth and being in the industry since then, I decided that after I got married in February 2011 that I needed something more.
I needed to add to my existing profession…
Reading through a professional beauty magazine I saw an advertisement by Sulé.
After approaching my husband about wanting to do the course he told me that he’ll support me 100% but the only way we will be able to afford the course will be if I can help sell his bakkie and use that money to pay for the course.
Well, after 24 hours on Gumtree the bakkie was sold and the money was mine (to pay back of course).
A huge risk, but one of the best decisions I had yet to make.
Within 6 months that money was paid back to hubby and I still continue to reap what I have sowed 6 years later.
Its been tough. But Sulé and her team have been there every step of the way and I am proud to be able to rub off that level of expertise and professionalism with every student I train.
I lecture full time as a first year lecturer at the Beauty Academy International in East London and continue to do all permanent make up procedures on weekends, as well as training during the holidays and on weekends.
“It’s a BEAUTIFUL thing when a career and a passion come together”
